Smelling roses and coffee {Sunday Sketch}

I m not really sure what went from my creative well crafted subject lines to my sudden attack of random quirky lines now. Without going through much details over this arrangement in this mind of mine, I would love to present you to Gabriella. Gabriella is much like me with that long flowy hair. I would love to say that she works at my current school (Institut Francais d'Haiti) as the Cultural Event person. Much like me, she loves the arts and she is devoted to spend majority of her time working in the arts...Besides she is a true believer that you must love what you do. Waking up every morning planning events, meeting new artists to bring them up front to the crowd is what Gabriella was born to do. Don't you just love her mean walk attitude? Yes you guessed it right, time is money and time is valuable  :)

Sea full of hearts

The colors red, pink and white are the highlights of the day, they are bright, happy and contagious to feel as happy as they appear to be. I decided to use that "happy go lucky" feeling instead to illustrate. In another note it has come to my attention that my productivity in my content has been put in the back seat. My energy went from high rocket to it entering the mind state of fear. Ohh! how did that happen? Living in fear is probably one of the thing that sucks the happiness and the energy out of you in life. My fears of creativity and hesitation of posting come from comparing myself with other artists, bloggers and feeling as if I am not doing enough, that I am not the best. I rarely get this kind of feeling and that is why I am praying to overcome it right at this moment. Blogging is something that I've been passionate about since it is my outlet to showcase my illustration and I won't let these fears emerge my thoughts any longer.

"Hit em up style" Sunday Sketches

Architect by day and Illustrator by yet this lover of patterns, interior design and broad buildings is also in transition of building a brand of stationary from the luxury of her home.
Ever since she was a youngster, little Gabriella knew that her heart had always been attached to fine art and the sciences of mathematics.

She wanted to use all her talents to her advantage and broke free from the stigmata that she couldn't have it all. Sure she couldn't be all but she could have it all and since she believed she could, Gabriella is living her dream life. Building houses with a wonderful team at work while balancing her stationary sleek illustration online. We know this girl never took hard work and education for granted and has all the right to live a happy lifestyle. Don't you just love her corset inspired of African tribal prints assemble with her red sole pumps Louboutin? She's on her way for New York Fashion Week with a couple of her friends.

Sunday Sketches- et Carouselle

"The girl with the wild curly hair" is how people refer to Cassandra Fayette. She is a Fashion Designer student in the city of New York with a purpose to help out her community in the area of schooling. Carouselle is the affectionate name given by her friends due to constant cycles from the decisions she takes in life. She proudly proclaim that she could live her entire life through organic anything and plans to have a farm in her future home just so she can have all the strawberries her heart so desires.


As a Fashion Designer student she has it in her blood to mix her personality of safe dressing with taking risque chances. So far her favorite style for the winter season the signature of high wasted shorts along with dark tights to keep her warm and stylish. With that said Carouselle is on her way for classes.

Sight Seeing and Ruffles!

A lot of my time has been spent painting or occasionally daydreaming through my Pinterest boards. I am always striving to find nex techniques to create colorful abstract art for the sake of my house. Between the hunger for new techniques and being kidnapped by Pinterest, the desire to travel started to kick it in. Oh the feeling of rushing on a airplane while strolling a little carryon in the back. Ok I know first hand it isnt as dreamy as I made it seem but hey.

  I Dreamed of Italy was created on a my traveling whirlwing with a lady who's spending her afternoon shopping in the country side of Italy in her heels and with her bike. {Check out the link for you won't regret it)Thank you Imagination I owe you one!


But Today our gal Julia is sight seeing the streets of Saint Tropez, France with her bike while sporting on a green and yellow ruffle shirt, a long side braid, high waist red pants while buying fresh new flowers to embellish her cozy little apartment during her year long stay for a program of studying abroad.

Then autumn came

For the last past days my throat has been putting me to sleep to rest because there's nothing that I could do but get rest and try to be creative. Miraculously this week it eased up and allowed me to be creative again this evening and that amount of time led me to illustrate the Fall days ahead.
The Little lady above is none but Alexa. She appreciate the wonderful breeze that Fall brings her as she steps out of the door. Lord knows she couldn't take more of that awful heat until she has to worry about it again next summer. Although Alexa is convinced that she detest the harsh cold air that comes with winter she feels ready to confront it while staying in style. Alexa takes consolation that she can look her absolute best as she is freezing her butts off with the art layering and combing colors with autumn tone, oversize bags, suede shoes and solid tight.

I dreamed of Italy

I've never been to Italy however when with the universal tool that is being photography, I lingered around photographs taken of the city. I close my eyes picturing myself among these beautiful photographs taken, learning to speak gracefully and shopping around. With the inspiration came the time to embrace my watercolor and splash them across my blank Bristol paper.

Well since I can't make it to Italy personally I decided to give in my illustrations another round of this adventure. That bring it to Emma who's an exchange student from France. She wanted to combine all the things that she loves in one piece on this beautiful Sunday such as bicycling the country side of Italy in her heels,visiting the local farm shop, going to buy some fresh flowers, and soaking up the air. We can tell that Emma doesn't need a special event to dress up even if it .


So far she has learn lots of sentence to get great bargains on flowers, fruits and handmade jewelry.
