Yellow Uptown, Blue Downton

I didn't think much of this white button down long sleeve shirt when it was hanging in my closet because I barely wear white. But since I was in a hurry this morning in my last minutes I decided to take my chance on the crisp clean white button down shirt that was hanging in my closet.
My chances went further when it  fit like a glove when I paired it with skinny jeans. As for accessories I combine the pale palette of the outfit with a light yellow scarf fabric and throw in a mini pink shoulder bag. At the end of I was pleased with the results and I decided that I could use more of white pieces of clothing in my closet. Shopping your closet does work a lot of wonder after all.

Mahogany beauty and Haiti

With summer around the corner Zoey wants to enjoy every little bit of relaxation the season has to offer. The first place she had in mind for relaxation is a Caribbean Island where the tropical breeze never cease to make one stop dreaming. Her excitements settle when she booked her ticket for a long period of time in Haiti. The destinations that are on her list are  "Les Cayes" in the South of Haiti where the Carnival of 2012 took place, then Le Cap; the Northern side of the Country for some serious sight seeing and an approach to Haitian History. With the awesome app of "Lokalhaiti" on her phone she surely will have Haiti in the palm of her precious hands. It's been so long since she's been contemplating to visit the hidden side of Haiti so it is only fair that she takes her time to play hard for she worked hard to earn that Bachelors in Public Relations after undergoing so many majors. With that said, we wish Zoey a wonderful trip visiting Haiti with the hopes of seeing tons of pictures.

Revival of the arts

This is probably the first sentence of the post where I explain why I haven't been active in the blog world at all. I faced problems with my laptop and it led my illustrations to take a back seat but I admit missing blogging about my arts. In the mean time I would love to thank each and everyone of you who took the time to visit the blog and checked out my previous entries and told me how they appreciated my illustrations and believe me I will take the time to visit your little place as well.

Ahhh you know these lovely ladies above my from previous posts but I wanted to stick them all together just for the fun of it.

Smelling roses and coffee {Sunday Sketch}

I m not really sure what went from my creative well crafted subject lines to my sudden attack of random quirky lines now. Without going through much details over this arrangement in this mind of mine, I would love to present you to Gabriella. Gabriella is much like me with that long flowy hair. I would love to say that she works at my current school (Institut Francais d'Haiti) as the Cultural Event person. Much like me, she loves the arts and she is devoted to spend majority of her time working in the arts...Besides she is a true believer that you must love what you do. Waking up every morning planning events, meeting new artists to bring them up front to the crowd is what Gabriella was born to do. Don't you just love her mean walk attitude? Yes you guessed it right, time is money and time is valuable  :)

Guilty of stripes

I promise that I wouldn't do such a blog post about the lack of posting but it is right in my mind so I think I am off to a good start. I've noticed that I miss the overload craft of my post and lately I feel as if I am losing my balance with blogging.  
To sum more of my thought I feel as If I am slowly turning into an observer rather than taking part in social networking. Could I be losing interest too? *gasp* Goodness gracious how I hope not but I did take a step down from the second life I created on the internet. The reasons why I did so was due to my lack of communication with people face to face. I was losing my ability to have plain conversations with strangers, friends or family since my head is always behind a screen or down typing on my phone.
And so I decided to re-evaluate my life around all of my favorite social networkings and I found it to be simple : Live my life outside of them, I want to be so busy with my life that I hardly have time to update what I am doing. I no longer want to feel like I am living my life through a screen. I want to fulfill my life by accomplishing my dreams and inspiring others to do the same while I keep balancing my passion for blogging as well. Like people say I just want to live my life to the fullest by fullest I mean do all of the things that I've been dreaming of doing. Actually living them rather than looking at them as dreams.
